Is my creative block just laziness?

For about a month now I have had no interest in creating any form of art.

My "excuse" was the fact I didn't have any inspiration. I'm starting to think that word "inspiration" is something a lot of artist hide behind when we just don't feel like working our brain.

I was helping a customer at my day job and he says to me:

"There's no excuse for my actions, it's just laziness".

Whoah.

That was something I really needed to hear that day.

The more I thought about it the more I realized that my "inspiration" is solely discipline.

Creating art is a habit that you have to practice regularly if you want it to be labeled a gift.

It's going to be hard and take a lot of dedication, but it's worth it.
